Meth mailing incident lands 31-year-old Helena man in handcuffs

A meth mailing incident landed a 31-year-old Helena man in handcuffs. Michael James George was arrested after police learned he was receiving meth in a package delivered by the United States Postal Service On Aug. 30, at the East Helena Post Office where he was met by law enforcement. Officers determined the motorcycle George was riding was stolen as well. He is charged with felony counts of drug possession and theft. Officers allegedly found 235 grams of meth in the mailed package worth over $20,000. George was being held at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
