Just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, some Central High School students began spreading Christmas cheer. Trucks with the Knights of Columbus arrived at Catholic middle school St. Pius X, in Billings Sunday afternoon, loaded with Christmas trees, and volunteers helped set them up at the St. Pius Christmas tree lot, a 47 year old tradition. The trees are sold at St. Pius on Broadwater and St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in the Heights. The Knights of Columbus has run it for about 17 years and gives the students a chance for community service.
