Few details are being released as the Helena Police Department investigates a fatal pedestrian accident Tuesday evening in the downtown area. Shortly after 5:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision in the area of 5th Avenue and Rodney Street and upon arrival, authorities determined the car had struck and killed someone. HPD says investigators are working to determine exactly what happened.
