Daines Conducts Telephone Town Hall

Protesters gathered outside the Helena office of Senator Steve Daines on Wednesday afternoon. The fifty or so people were there to urge Daines to vote no on the Senate health care bill to repeal and replace Obamacare. A few hours after the protest, Daines conducted a telephone town hall with constituents to get feedback on the health care bill. Daines says the town hall call reached 40 thousand people. Daines gave no indicate on the call whether he supports the Senate version of the health care bill. He said he expects a vote on it in July.
