HELENA – New playground equipment will greet students returnung to Townsend
Elementary School when classes resume for the fall session. Volunteers spent Wednesday setting up the brand-new $300,000 worth of play equipment, planned after children were losing play days due to flooding. The equipment will be all set up by this Satuday, (August 10), Stacey Sommer, Helena’s Playable Playground Manager, told MTN. Organizers are looking for volunteers to help with finishing touches to the project, Sommers said.
