70 year old Mann Gulch markers getting attenion from local 11 year old

After nearly 70 years the markers that line Mann Gulch are getting some attenion from a local 11 year old. It all started as a 4-H project for Colt Barnard when he and his mother went to Mann Gulch to place flowers on the 13 markers dotting the hillside and Colt noticed how destroyed the crosses are, which prompted the family to form One Foot in the Black as a way to raise money for new crosses in Mann Gulch by the 75th anniversary, honoring the loss of wildland firefighters.
