A former Helena insurance agent is facing multiple felony counts of fraud and theft. According to a press release from the Office of the Montana State Auditor, an investigation into Mark Anthony Biegler began in 2018 after authorities received a suspected insurance fraud report from Travelers Insurance company. Each felony count carries a potential penalty of up to 10 years in prison. A trial for Biegler is scheduled to begin in August in the Lewis and Clark County District Court. The investigation is ongoing.
