HELENA – The Republican majority on Montana’s House Taxation Committee voted Friday to increase the amount of an income tax cut for the wealthy proposed by Gov. Greg Gianforte. The committee amended Senate Bill 159, more than doubling a tax reduction for Montana’s wealthiest top earners.
