A Helena man was arrested after allegedly threatening to open fire on a local hospital last month, triggering a lockdown. Daniel Patrick Moriarty was taken into custody Tuesday in connection to the March 8 incident at St. Peter’s Health, in which he was reportedly sitting in a tree on hospital property with a gun and said he intended to “shoot everyone,” because the hospital owed him money. The 55-year-old is charged with felony assault with a weapon.
