Official charges have been filed against a 53 year old Helena man in connection to a felony assault case from last month. Police identified Daniel Patrick Moriarty as the suspect who threatened to shoot up St. Peter’s Health Hospital last month, triggering a lockdown. He is charged with felony assault with a weapon in the March 8 incident in which Helena Police responded to reports of a man sitting in a tree at the facility threatening to open fire because the hospital owed him money.
