Anti-gun activists are moving forward with their efforts to block permitless carry in Montana. House Bill 102 was signed into law by Gov. Greg Gianforte (R-MT) earlier this year which allows Montanans to carry guns without thorough background checks or permits, including on college campuses.

MEANWHILE…

HELENA – A Lewis and Clark County district court judge temporarily halted the campus carry bill that would expand permissions for concealed carry firearms on campus starting June 1. The order is in response to a suit filed by the Montana University System, which voted unanimously last week to challenge the new law.
