No one injured in fire that broke out at home on N. Oakes Street Thursday

HELENA, Mont. – A fire that broke out at a home on N. Oakes Street Thursday is being investigated. The Helena Fire Department says crews quickly knocked down the fire and made entry into the house which was unoccupied. The blaze is believed to probably have started in the backside of the house, possibly on the exterior, before quickly spreading into the attic, according to Assistant Fire Chief Mike Chambers. No injuries were reported.
