Cluster of blazes continued burning northeast of Helena

Sveral fires continued burning Saturday in the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest northeast of Helena in a cluster of blazes U.S. Forest officials are calling the Divide Complex Fire. The fires were reported Thursday afternoon and are 0 percent contained as of noon Saturday. The cost so far is $1.2 million, U.S. Forest officials said. The cause of the fires has not been determined.

MEANWHILE…

Roads were closed over the weekend near the Wolf Creek fire over the weekend. Both the northbound and southbound lanes on I-15 were closed between Wolf Creek and a few miles north of Craig. US-287 was also closed north of I-15. Evacuations have been lifted on Craig River Road and all residents were able to return to their homes Sunday.
