HELENA Mont. (AP) – A grizzly bear linked to a fatal mauling of a 65 year old California woman was shot and killed just after midnight Friday. Wildlife officials said they used night vision goggles to stake out a chicken coop that the bear raided near the small Montana town of Ovando where the woman was pulled from her tent and killed earlier. Local authorities said campsites in town will remain closed until DNA evidence in the case ensures they’ve gotten the offending bear.
