HELENA, Mont. – HPD is warning residents about a scam regarding an investigation. The Helena Police Department (HPD) says citizens are reporting getting a recording from the department that asks people to press “#1” to speak with someone. Detectives do leave messages stating they may need to speak with you, however, HPD says they will never ask people to press “#1” to do so.
