Court proceedings halted for father-daughter law team accused of bilking clients out of more than a million dollars

The Montana Supreme Court halted proceedings Tuesday for a father-daughter law team accused of bilking clients out of more than a million dollars. The court ruled 6-0 to grant Timothy McKeon’s request to be placed on disability. A formal disciplinary complaint was filed in Feb., against McKeon and his daughter, who allegedly owe clients and third parties nearly $1.35 million. The case against the daughter is set for Oct. 28.
