Montana Congressman rallying to lower prescription drug prices

HELENA – Montana Congressman Matt Rosendale introduced a bill this week he says would lower the cost of prescription drugs. Rosendale said he believes hospitals and clinics are not always passing on savings to customers that they receive from a medicare and medicaid program, and instead are using them to fund other services. He says the Drug Pricing Transparency and Accountability Act, would require hospitals to reveal what they paid and what they did with the revenue.
