Helena teen killed, three others injured in one car crash

A 17-year-old Helena boy died and three other teens from Helena were injured in a once vehicle wreck Sunday. The Montana Highway Patrol said, speeding is suspected to have played a role in the crash in which the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle on Birdseye Road northwest of Helena, skidded off the roadway then overturned. One occupant was ejected and the others had to be cut out of the car. The 17-year-old driver was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Three passengers, girls ages 18, 17 and 15, were all taken to St. Peter’s Health.
