MISSOULA – A Missoula mother charged in the death of her two young children pleaded not guilty Monday morning in Missoula District Court. Leannah Gardipe [gard i pee], 34, is accused of fatally stabbing her three-year-old daughter and five-year-old son at their Missoula home a week before Thanksgiving. She is charged with two counts of deliberate homicide and faces two consecutive life sentences, according to court documents. Gardipe remains in the Missoula County Detention Facility on a $10 million bond. Her next court date is set for Feb. 8.
