Great Falls Public Schools students went back to class after COVID closures

GREAT FALLS – Great Falls Public Schools students went back to class this week. Iin-class learning resumed Tuesday [January 18], after a week-long closure due to staff illness and a surge in COVID infections. GFPS superintendent Tom Moore said in a Facebook video that school campusses would reopen and masks are encouraged, but not required.

MEANWHILE…

Moore also said that due to staff shortages due to COVID absences, GFPS is adding $25 per day for substitute teachers.
