Montana marijuana convictions slow to be cleared in wake of new laws

HELENA, Mont. (AP) – The approval of recreational cannabis in the state also paved the way to clear the records for people previously convicted of now-legal actions. But, while some say the process has worked well, some cases that have been filed are still mired in the traditional court system. To help the process along the Supreme Court is compiling a form to guide people through the process. The form is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
