‘Move over and slow down.’ That’s the message from the Montana Department of Transportation after more than a dozen [17] of the department’s roughly 600 snow plows have been hit while on the roads this season – including 10 on the interstates. No injuries have been linked to the crashes, but officials say it does knock the trucks out of service and it’s costly, with repairs averaging $3,000. MDT is asking drivers to take steps to stay safe on the roads and help plow drivers safely do their jobs.
