Birdseye fire crews had to call for back up to battle house fire Monday

Birdseye Volunteer Fire Department crews had to call for back up from several other agencies to help battle a blaze Monday morning after a fire was sparked in a detached garage at the home. It took multiple agencies more than three hours to bring the fire under control, which crews believe was sparked by a heat source, according to reports. There were no injuries reported. Birdseye Volunteer Fire Department received additional aid from a half dozen other departments.
