A Helena teen was recognized as Shodair’s 2022 Montana Children’s Miracle Network Champion. On Tuesday, Dakotah Hurley, who suffered from depression, says his treatment at Shodair Children’s Network drastically improved his outlook and relationship with his family and he hopes that by sharing his story he can bring hope to others dealing with mental illness. As Shodair champion, the 17 year old will travel across the state sharing his story in an effort to destigmatize mental health issues.
