BILLINGS – A fire at a Billings apartment left one person in critical condition Tuesday night. Just before midnight crews responded to reports of smoke coming from a third-floor apartment on N. 18th St., in the Stillwater building of the Big Sky Apartments in Billings’ North Park Neighborhood and were met by heavy smoke and flames, but were able to safely evacuate the resident. The victim was rushed to an area hospital. What sparked the fire is under investigation.
