The Big Horn County attorney is pursuing charges against a Hardin police officer and Police Chief following an alleged “excessive force” arrest in early March. According to charging documents, video shows the officer, who was responding to a public nuisance call at the Town Pump March 6, tasing a man and then punching him in the head while he was down. Then, when a complaint was filed the police chief allegedly threatened to arrest the man.
