The Cascade County Zoning Board of Adjustment voted unanimously during their June 16 meeting to deny an appeal from a marijuana business owner. Shawn Brass appealed to the board after he was ordered to shutdown his marijuana operation for Great Northern Naturals LLC set up in Cascade County.
The county issued a formal cease and desist notice “on the grounds that growing marijuana is not allowed in the district,” according to county staff.
