S.C. man sentenced in Montana sex trafficking case

BILLINGS – A Charleston, South Carolina, man convicted in a Montana sex trafficking ring was sentenced Monday. A judge ordered Louis Gregory Venning, also known as “December,” to 30 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release. He was convicted in a large sex trafficking and drug investigation that involved more than a dozen women and girls who were forced by threats and violence into prostitution from 2012 to 2020 in Montana, a release from the U.S. Attorney statesx.
