Historic cemetery in Lewis and Clark National Forest getting a makeover

LINCOLN – A 160-year-old cemetery in the heart of the Helena in Lewis and Clark National Forest is getting a makeover. The Montana Conservation Corps will be helping repair and rehab three wooden grave fences built around 1869 to separate the historic and active parts of the cemetery. Crews are expected to wrap up tomorrow [July 13]. The conservation project was in conjunction with Preserve Montana.
