GREAT FALLS – A Great Falls family got quite a scare when a mountain lion came running into their home on Sunday [July 31]. Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks said the female cat was believed to be searching for food when law enforcment spotted it underneath a house deck along 3rd Avenue North and as it tried to escape, it broke through a window into the basement. The animal was captured and eventually euthanized.
