UPDATE: The body of a missing hunter found near Bozeman has been identified. According to a press release, Gallatin County Sheriff Search & Rescue, responded to a late Tuesday night call [October 4] regarding a man who had not returned home from hunting in the Bridger Mountain Range and had a known medical history. Authorities responded to the area, and early Wednesday morning [October 5], a Gallatin County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue dog team located the body of, Joseph Raymond Balyeat’s, 65. His car was found parked at theTruman Gulch Trailhead. The death has been determined to be of natural causes.
