A coroner’s inquest will be held Friday regarding the suspected suicide of an inmate at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center on Oct. 24, 2021. Delain Valenzuela Davis died as a result of asphyxiation from hanging while in the custody of the detention center, according to a press release from the Lewis and Clark County Coroner’s Office. In late 2020, Davis was arrested and on child sex assault charges in Lewis and Clark County.
