HELENA – It’s the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week. This year’s theme is “Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape,” and second and third graders got a chance to visit the Helena Fire station to learn about escape plans, fire alarms, and how to avoid fires. The kids got the opportunity to watch a safety video, hear from real-life firefighters, check out the fire station, and practice their best stop-drop-and-roll.
