MISSOULA, Mont. – Missoula residents are being warned about a police phone scam. A Facebook post from the City of Missoula Police Department said someone reportedly is pretending to be the sergeant calling people telling them they have a warrant and if the person pays money or sends gift cards they can avoid being arrested. MPD said this is a con and urges people to not give out their personal or financial information.
