Amid last week’s cold temperatures, a Helena school bus driver came up with a hot idea. Theresa Loney turned to Facebook to ask for donations of kids hats and gloves, and the Helena Classifieds post went viral leading to the launch of the ‘Bus Box program.’ The plan is to put gloves and hats in an over-the-door organizers on the buses for students in need. This Bus Box program is starting as a trial run on elementary school buses this year in hopes of growing in the future.
