Great Falls mother facing charges after leaving 5 year old outside unattended for hours

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – A Great Falls mother is now facing charges after leaving her 5 year old outside unattended for hours. The Great Falls Police Department responded to a welfare check Sunday night [November 13], and learned the little girl went to a neighbors house and was there for about 5.5 hours and no one could contact her mother who reportedly had gone to the grocery store earlier that afternoon. The woman was arrested for child endnagerment, as well as drug possession, after police found methamphetamine.
