The Montana Premium Processing Cooperative is getting closer to opening its first processing plant in Havre that will provide a sort of one stop shop for ag producers. MPPC manager Bill Jones said, they started working on the plant about a year ago and want to process around 3,500 calltle a year. He added that the plant will hopefully be the first of several of it’s kind as they will seek to expand to other parts of the state. They hope to be open by 2023.
