HELENA – The hunt for Helena’s next city manager is kicking into full gear. At a special meeting this week (Monday), at The City-County Building, Helena city commissioners discussed the recruitment process for finding a permanent replacement, including advertising for the post, which Helena Mayor Wilmot Collins said he thinks is important to incentivise potential candidates. The city has hired a communications and management services here in Helena and at Monday’s meeting officials say they can start advertising to fill the post left vacant over the past several years due to high turnover.
