HELENA – The Children’s Legislative Forum was held in Helena Wednesday to update those in the field on the state of children’s behavioral health in Montana. The annual Youth Risk Behavior Survey found that reported feelings of sadness or hopelessness among Montana’s 7th through 12th graders are currently at a 30-year high.
Heading into January’s legislative session lawmakers are expected to address the study’s findings, and work on preventative actions.
