Helena lawmaker Mary Caferro has been cleared in a lawsuit involving Intermountain Children’s Home and one of its former employees. A Lewis and Clark County District Court judge has dismissed the case against Caferro, saying the plaintiff, Courtney Rogaski, did not prove allegations of slanderous statements Caferro allegedly made. Rogaski, a psychotherapist, was fired from Intermountain after Caferro reported her to law enforcement following a heated telephone discussion, court documents state. The attorney for Rogaski said they would appeal and that the lawsuit involving Intermountain’s alleged wrongful termination would move forward.
