CARDWELL – Cardwell’s Lahood Park Steakhouse has reopened after fire closed the popular Jefferson County business, just south of Helena in 2021. A phoenix carved out of a burnt beam from the old restaurant can be seen at the new eatery, a symbol, the owner says, of how they were able to rise from the ashes, following the fire that destroyed the restaurant, which had been in that location since 1928.
