UPDATE – We have an update from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office about a manhunt for a dangerous suspect that prompted a shelter in place for residents Thursday. Authorities confirmed earlier today [jan. 27] that
the suspect has been taken into custody and the shelter in place has been lifted in the area of High Ore Road east to Depot Hill Road, and down to Interstate 15. Police siad the suspect was on the run from U.S. Marshals, after he was linked to an alleged kidnapping and strangulation.
