CASCADE – A local nonprofit working to upgrade the Atkinson Park baseball diamond in Cascade just got a financial boost. The Friends of the Black & Gold received an $1,800 grant recently to start renovations at the field, and leaders said it will be a step in bringing communities together, according to a press release.
