Construction on the new 66,000 square Montana Historical Society (MTHS) building on Capitol Hill in Helena is ahead of schedule. The Montana Museums Act of 2020 authorized the $84 million renovation and expansion of the building, which director Molly Kruckenberg noted is expected to be completed in early 2025.
