MHP reports several people were seriously hurt in I-90 multi-vehicle pileup

DRUMMOND – The Montana Highway Patrol (MHP) reports several people were seriously hurt following a multi-vehicle pileup that shutdown I-90 for hours near Drummond, about an hour west of Helena. An MHP preliminary investigation shows seven vehicles were involved in the incident near milepost 144, in Granite County, that sent six people to Missoula hospitals. MHP reports a car traveling too fast for road conditions collided with a concrete barrier and skidded into the opposite lanes of I-90 where other vehicles crashed as a result. The MHP is continuing to investigate the incident.
