HELENA – A group of Montana lawmakers has been taking a deep dive into Montana’s election procedures, following unfounded allegations of irregularities. A Joint Select Committee on Election Security set up to address questions Montana voters have asked about how elections are run, including processes and systems, determined Montana’s elections are secure. However, the committee plans to propose legislation ahead of the March deadline that would investigate election-related complaints from across the state.
