Two proposed substantial developments within Helena took their first steps Monday. Helena Food Share is looking to build a 19,000-square-foot facility, dubbed the Community Food Resource Center, on Boulder Ave., and a Billings-based developer proposed building a nearly 5,200-square-foot commercial facility in the Skyway Regional Shopping Center off Washington Street. Both met with city staff ahead of submitting building permit applications for the proposed structures, which will have to be approved by the zoning committee.
