A 74-year-old Wolf Creek man is still recovering after he was injured in what police are calling an accidental shooting. Lewis and Clark County deputies said a 54-year-old woman was cleaning a gun and when she set it on the table it fired, striking the victim. He was taken to Benefis Health System in Great Falls. No charges were filed, but police said the incident serves as a good reminder to make sure your firearms are cleared before you clean them.
