WHITEFISH – The City of Whitefish is debating how to regulate marijuana facilities. Although recreational marijuana has been legal in Montana since 2021, the Whitefish City Council adopted an interim zoning ordinance late last month to put a hold on any new dispensaries for six months to be sure there is not an overbearance of dispensaries. The council will hold a work session on March 20 to begin the evaluations.
