Columbia Falls High School on high alert after threatening email

Columbia Falls High School students were greeted by an increased police presence Monday morning after the school received a threatening email late Sunday night. The Columbia Falls Police Department and Flathead County Sheriff’s Office were notified and the school said in a notice to parents that after an investigation law enforcement determined the threat “was not credible.” Police said both Bozeman and Helena high schools also received the same threatening email, and noted Helena had classes yesterday, but the Bozeman campus cancelled school.
